4a. MIND - What is Mental Health?
The two most commonly diagnosed mental health problems are depression and anxiety.
Every organisation has responsibility for ensuring a culture of promoting wellbeing and mental health in all their employees. But everyone also has a responsibility for our own mental health, and we should all be taking steps to stay in good wellbeing, to recognise the signs that things are not going well and act to help ourselves and get the support when needed.
Five Ways to Wellbeing
Connect – Connecting with others can help us feel close to people, and valued for who we are.
Be Active – Many people find that physical activity helps them maintain positive mental health.
Take Notice – Take some time to enjoy the moment and the environment around you.
