Following the formal procedure, the Director met with Dan ho added that he thought the issues of him being excluded and making it difficult for him to do his job was because his (new) manager may be homophobic and may also be unhappy that he needed to take time off when his disabled son was unwell. During the investigation it was established that when Dan came off the out of hours call out, his keys were needed to give to the replacement, however it had not been considered that Dan would need keys to undertake his day-to-day duties and Dan had not raised it at the time or since.
